SAFe® Advanced Facilitator: Value Stream Mapping incl. E-learning

The Micro-credential - Advanced Facilitator: Value Stream Mapping workshop equips participants with the essential skills to effectively facilitate value stream mapping workshops in various professional settings.

This comprehensive program delves into advanced facilitation techniques, emphasizing the identification and elimination of waste, streamlining processes, and enhancing operational efficiency. Participants learn to create and use value stream maps to improve decision-making, optimize workflows, and drive continuous improvement practices.

The program

The workshop is structured in two parts:

1. E-Learning Module: A self-paced online course, averaging 2 hours, to be completed prior to the facilitated session.

2. Facilitated Workshop: A half-day, interactive workshop (approximately 4 hours) led by an expert facilitator.

Who is it for?

This workshop is ideal for anyone involved in or preparing to facilitate value stream mapping workshops. It is particularly beneficial for individuals who play a key role in optimizing workflows and enhancing operational efficiency.

• Specifically, RTEs (Release Train Engineers) will gain insights into mapping and improving value streams within Agile Release Trains, leading to better coordination and delivery.
• SPCs (SAFe Practice Consultants) will acquire advanced skills to guide organizations in identifying and eliminating waste, streamlining processes, and achieving business agility.
• Agile Coaches will benefit by learning to facilitate value stream mapping workshops effectively, empowering teams to visualize their workflows, identify bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement

Prerequisites

The only prerequisite to follow this workshop is to complete the 2-hours E-learning module before the facilitated session.

Certification: Graduates receive a SAFe® micro-credential badge, validating their proficiency in leading VSM workshops. Attendees are assessed on key topics and learning objectives to ensure their mastery of the material.
