Microsoft System Center Operations Manager SCOM Administrator training (v2019-2025)

Essential training for anybody who has to work with Microsoft SCOM as an Administrator or  any related role. We train you in the use of SCOM 2019-2022-2025 versions (most applies to older versions as well).

After completing the SCOM Administrator Training, the participants will be able to:

• Explain what a SCOM management group is and how its components relate and interact
• Understand the various SCOM infra roles and what is needed to install them
• Be able to make a simple design and run an installation of SCOM
• Connect new servers and clients to SCOM
• Understand both the health & class model basics
• Understand the possibilities and differences between rules and monitors
• Navigate through the SCOM console to perform various tasks
• Modify or tune existing monitoring solutions to fit your environment
• Work with notifications through e-mail and connected ticketing systems
• Use, create and schedule reports
• Scope user permissions and share access to monitoring solutions
• Understand some of the third party add-ons and blogs
• Perform basic maintenance tasks that are required to keep the SCOM environment healthy

This training is created as an online training given through Teams (or another platform if needed) and in the English language, given the nature of the product. It is possible to give this training on-site if you have a larger group of participants and a strict need for physical presence or if there is a need for an adjusted version for your specific use case - contact us if that is the case.

This training includes Labs for basic SCOM installation and prerequisites of the normal roles and agents.

This training includes a Test and certification upon finishing the Test with success. Also this certification is the basis for the SCOM Specialist training modules we also offer for several topics.
