SolarWinds Advanced Automation [SOLWAA]

OVERVIEW

Our SolarWinds Advanced Automation class is designed to introduce seasoned SolarWinds administrators to the powerful world of the SolarWinds SDK and API. This program is ideally suited for students with at least six months of hands-on experience in SolarWinds Network Performance Monitor (NPM) and/or Server & Application Monitor (SAM) administration, or those who have successfully completed the Loop1 SolarWinds Advanced Platform Administration class.

This class assumes students possess a foundational understanding of element polling, the Orion database schema, and are proficient in navigating the SolarWinds web console. In addition, attendees should have a good understanding of querying syntax (such as SQL or SWQL) and PowerShell scripting, as these will be used extensively throughout the class.

Topics covered in this advanced class include an in-depth exploration of the Orion SDK, working with SolarWinds Query Language (SWQL), and leveraging PowerShell to automate common administrative tasks within the Orion platform. These skills will enable participants to build more powerful, efficient, and scalable automation solutions in their SolarWinds environments.

Virtual Learning

This interactive training can be taken from any location, your office or home and is delivered by a trainer. This training does not have any delegates in the class with the instructor, since all delegates are virtually connected. Virtual delegates do not travel to this course, Global Knowledge will send you all the information needed before the start of the course and you can test the logins.
