Voorvereisten
If you have taken the BCS Business Analysis Foundation exam, this gives you a very good starting point.
To participate in this training, it is mandatory to have knowledge of the attainment targets as described for the BCS Foundation certificate.
We advise you to follow this training in advance, this is not mandatory.
You do need to be in possession of the book "Business Analysis Fourth edition" (ISBN 9781780175102) as provided with the BCS Foundation training.
You should have read the chapters in this book that are described in the preparatory work for this training.
This book is not provided with this training.
Doelstelling
Holders of the BCS Certificate in Modelling Business Processes should be able to:
- To understand the context for Business Process Modelling and name the benefits and inconveniences;
- Describe the impact using the POPIT model of implementing a new process design;
- Understand and judge the construction of a process model on organizational level;
- Explain how the processes on the organizational model support the delivery of the value proposition;
- Model a business process model for a given business scenario and explain the used notation set;
- Identify external, internal and time events;
- Document a specific task within a business scenario;
- Indicate where and how business processes can be improved;
