Starting level of the group varied, I feel if I had a better formal understanding of AGILE/SCRUM before this training I would have even better understanding of the course content.
Trainer Abram Janse was excellent: clear in his explanation, patient with questions, kept good control of the group and the time, used lots of examples and exercises and most importantly was very flexible and adapted his training order/material/style to the needs of the group!

"I liked the way the trainer approached the training by really trying to check what the group needed and using that as a starting point. There was a good time spend in exercises and interactions. Where the sheets were supporting but nog leading the meeting.

Improvement areas:
Printed material -- A lot of the diagrams had very small font making it difficult to read in the handout book.

Slide in book .. SAFe Implementation Roadmap. Would have likes to spend a little more time at the beginning of the course understanding the roadmap and our responsibilities and reviewing each day

"The training was good and the trainers were more then qualified. Location and lunch were also very good.

"I liked the location, the food, the content and the creative teaching style of the trainer who does not rigidly follow the defined content (slides). On the other hand the students have to work themselves through the material in order to be able to take the exam. "Ik vond het goed als de training specifiek in ging op de taken en verantwoordelijkheden van PO. Hier heb ik ook een aantal nuttige technieken geleerd, die ik direct kan toepassen in mijn dagelijkse werk (story mapping, prioriteren obv waardemaximalisatie, etc.)

Ik vond het zelf het algemene waarom-agile-verhaal een herhaling van zetten en niet per se goed afgestemd op het publiek uit de zaal. Daarnaast hebben we veel tijd bested aan het bespreken van verschillen tussen de theorie en de praktische invulling op Schiphol. Ik heb mijn twijfels bij de toegevoegde waarde van veel van deze discussies, maar onze groep had duidelijk de behoefte om deze verschillen uit te spreken." - 17-04-2018 00:00

"During the course I would have liked to see how the SAFe theory will tailor ASMLs organization and what are the deviations.

"I liked the approach. As mentioned it is difficult to fit a change of mind/culture experience into a 2-day foundation training. Like for instance the LEAN advanced training is 5 days, where for most participants it takes at least 3 days to understand and change the mindset. Maybe only feedback is to set some pretesting and requirement to pass the practice exam. I also noticed that quite some partipants knowledge was quite poor and a too much time was also spend at discussing the validity of the SAFe Framework by specific participants. At some point the trainer in my opinion could have noticed that the change-adaptiveness of 1 or 2 more senior participants was significantly slowing down the learning curve for the others on day-2." - 30-03-2018 00:00

"There are a lot of slides with a lot of information and to do exercises is a very welcome switch. With the group I was in it would have been better if we had a scenario we could use through te course and the exercises. Now we could try our own examples wich did not always work out to start with. "The surrounding was good, the tables could have been organised better. The teacher was nice, but he sometimes flew over some acronyms, not explaining what it actually meant. The knowledge I gained is more theoretical than practical. That should be definitely an improvement point. The teacher was kind and open to answer questions, but sometimes he felt vague. He was alright but sometimes I missed some energy and spark about the subject.
